Sunday Pearson has been a member of the Covenant Church for over 31 years. She retired
from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in March of 2006 and in November of that same year, entered into the first of two Clinical
Pastoral Education (CPE) programs.
The first 400-hour program she attended was held at the Veterans Hospital at
Mather, California and the second was at Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sunday is currently a student at Fuller
Theological Seminary where she is majoring in Family Life Education.
Her
calling, as she puts it, is to ‘share God's love for humanity in crises situations.' She is the first to tell
you that what she does is an outward manifestation of God's extravagant love for her.

"As a Chaplain, my passion is to affirm the dignity of
every human being regardless of race, color or creed. In conjunction with the Holy Spirit and in the name of the One who first
loved me, my prayer is to facilitate an awareness of God's presence and love for humanity in the midst of uncertainty."
