Lakehills Youth Performing Arts Group (formerly JITH) is our junior high-college Performing Arts Ministry. As a musical drama ministry we invite junior and senior high students, 6th - 12th grades, as well as college students, to use their God-given talents to glorify Him and minister to others through theatrical productions. We harness our energy and efforts to put on a high-quality, lively, musical production each year. We welcome all students who are interested to participate, including those with special needs. The technical crew for our performances is also made up of students for those interested in the “behind the scenes” aspect of a production. Performances are held the last week in January and first week of February. Registration and auditions for casting parts are held in September. All students who register are included in the production.

Rehearsals are held on Sunday evenings, and Saturdays and Sundays in January leading up to the shows. Check out our last two productions: Godspell Jr. and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

There is a $50 registration fee to assist with expenses including songbooks, a CD for each cast member, costumes and other production costs.

HOW TO CONNECT
A key team of volunteers is vital to the Lakehills Youth Performing Arts Group ministry. Team members range from choreographer to vocal director to administrative assistant and help with such things as check-in, costume and wardrobe, and working backstage to name a few.

For more information about this ministry, please email Becky Reilly or complete an online Connections Card.
