Pastor’s Class
Our next Pastor’s Class is scheduled for Sunday, September 21 from 12:30 – 3:30pm in Heritage Hall.
The Pastor’s Class is offered several times per year and is a pre-requisite to church membership. This is an informal time to meet our pastor, meet members of the leadership team, address your questions and learn more about Lakehills. We also discuss topics and address questions such as:
- What does the word “Covenant” mean?
- What are the roots of the Evangelical Covenant Church?
- Learn about the national denomination, regional conference, and our local church
- The history of Lakehills Covenant Church
- How do we live out our faith?
- And many other topics and questions
Spiritual Parenting Class
Lakehills is starting a new six-week class called “Spiritual Parenting” for parents of elementary school-age children (although anyone is welcome to attend!). Class starts Sunday, August 10 at 9:00am in Heritage Hall. Book is $13 and may be purchased in class. Register now.
Note: Class will not meet on Labor Day weekend, August 31.

Sign up now for Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University starting Thursday, September 11 from 7:00-9:00pm in Heritage Hall. This nine-week class will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely and much more! Cost is $100 (per person or couple). SIGN UP AT THE TABLE ON SUNDAYS. What is Alpha?
The Alpha course is a practical introduction to the Christian faith that gives guests an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Alpha is fun, relaxed and totally non-pressured (that’s probably why over 19 mil. people around the world have already done it!).
Listen, learn, discuss, and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is off limits.
Jr High Youth Group
MID-WEEK YOUTH GROUP (Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00pm)
Youth group is high-energy fun and geared towards a large-group celebration. We eat dinner together, play games, worship with a junior high band, and have small group discussions recognizing God’s relevance in our lives and reinforcing what’s being taught. Women’s Monday Study
Attend our new women’s study “Jesus the One and Only” (Beth Moore) starting Monday, Sept 15 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. KOK Rehearsals
Rehearsals for “We Three spies” will take place every Sunday from 5:15-7:00pm at Lakehills Church.
Our Fall musical drama is “We Three Spies”. Kids of the Kingdom (KOK) is our children’s music ministry for children in Preschool-5th grade. Cost is $40 per child. Rehearsals take place every Sunday from 5:15-7:00pm at Lakehills Church. REGISTER online (*service fees apply).
