Ron Short - Pastor

Ron's passion for people is only matched by his passion for Jesus. His willingness to share a smile with anyone is what makes him unique and perfectly suited to be pastor at Lakehills church. Ron spent over twenty years in church development before starting Lakehills in 1996. Ron loves to share his passion for Christ with people, and coach football at a local high School. He enjoys his family and spending time with his kids.

Mark Willson - Associate Pastor, Small Groups and Administration

Mark is passionate about living out all of life in a relationship with God. A recovering legalist and moralist, he encourages people to enjoy God's love and extravagant grace. Just ask him to explain the "Gospel Perspective" and you'll understand. He is madly in love with his wife Kelli, daughters Madelyn and Kameryn, and son Brennan. His desire for authenticity and love make him a great fit for our church.

Becky is director of the family and children's program. She loves seeing children grow through Kid's of the Kingdom.

Ian McDougall - High School Student Ministries

Ian's passion is for followers of Christ to see all truth as God's truth. While having an interest in reading books that deal with subjects such as discipleship, theology, spiritual formation, and philosophy, he also will be found in front of the TV on Thursday nights watching The Office. Ian loves spending time with his wife Missy visiting new restaurants and just hangin' out. His desire for students to be able to engage culture in the public square is only trumped by his desire to see them be winsome and loving at the same time.

Carolyn McKenzie - Director of Children's Choir and Outreach Ministries

You can see Carolyn's love for children as she directs our KOK choir! A mother of three, Carolyn spends her time creating new ways to teach and train children to share God's Word through music and drama.
