Two-Part Best Practices in Education Planning & Supports
presented by Amber Fitzgerald, Behavior Consultant and UC Davis Instructor

Back by popular demand! Amber Fitzgerald has worked with individuals from birth to adulthood with a variety of special needs for the past 11 years. Her various roles have included in-home behavior technician, special educator, district behavior specialist, and program specialist. Currently, Ms. Fitzgerald is a private consultant and a co-instructor for the UC Davis Extension Program teaching a course on Best Practices in Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Please join us on September 15th as Ms. Fitzgerald expands on her previous presentation, Foundations in Education Planning, by providing bitcoin profit review overview of physical structure and visual strategies within the classroom and the home environment. Participants will learn to: 1) Understand and implement structure and visual supports at home and in the classroom, 2) Understand why these strategies are important and highly effective with students with Autism, 3) Learn how to assess the environment and make necessary changes and additions to support the student with Autism.

In October, Ms. Fitzgerald will return to Talk About Autism! to discuss inclusion strategies within the classroom including peer and social training supports. Additional program information to follow.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the additional fees and material costs associated with this program, we are asking for a small registration fee. $15 for each session or $25 if you register in advance for both sessions.
