In Will's words:
"I've been told that being a musician or
worship pastor (or any ministry for that matter!) is not a wise career path to venture down. However, God began teaching me
how to offer my talents and live my life for Him, and increasingly the culture's standard began looking very unwise. I
think that a big piece of my calling as a worship pastor and musician is to invite and welcome people into the presence of
God, so that they too might experience the transforming power of God, and step into who God created them to be regardless
of what society or culture is pressing them to be.
says: 'We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God—those whom he has called according
to his plan. This is true because he already knew his people and had already appointed them to have the same form as the image
of his Son. Therefore, his Son is the firstborn among many children. He also called those whom he had already appointed. He
approved of those whom he had called, and he gave glory to those whom he had approved of.'
What can we say
about all of this?...If God is for us, who can be against us?"
"My hope and blessing
is that God’s confidence in you
will overwhelm and clarify who you are in Him. Remember, if God is for you, who
can be against you?"
