Lakehills' High School Ministry helps high school students, grades 9-12,
become students of Jesus. We do this by asking questions like, "What did Jesus say? "How did
He live?". We think these questions are worth wrestling with and realize that God wants us not only to answer them but
to enter into an amazing and full life with the real person, Jesus.
ROOTS (Wednesdays 7:00-8:30)
Roots is our
midweek gathering, geared to encourage and connect students through teaching, worship, small group interaction, and relationships. This is
a casual time where we are intentional about getting to know one another and the God who created us in His .image.
Roots is an easy entry point for students who aren't quite sure about their faith and just want to check
things out. And yes - we do have fun too! From our free BBQ's to our pre-Halloween Pumpkin Launch, we know that students
need a venue where they can be themselves.
THE JOURNEY (Sundays
10:30 in the Library)
On Sunday mornings, you'll find us studying Scripture more in
depth, whether it's a series on a biblical book or a group discussion about "What it is to be Jesus' disciple."
But don't let that scare you! We work very hard to help students easily access the truths of the Bible and realize the
importance of God's voice in their lives.
WHAT
ELSE?
We also host a number of specials events throughout the year. Past events
have included a winter snow retreat, camping in Santa Cruz, and 70's bowling night. Check out our official calendar
and some pictures below!!
