Preschool

Our Preschool provides a safe and nurturing environment and welcomes all potty-trained children ages three to five years old. The ministry exists to begin the education process of these little ones and grow disciples of Jesus Christ. Every moment is used to encourage and teach the children how their behavior can show God’s love to others. Each week includes music, worship, and Bible stories. Our activities take advantage of both the indoor and outdoor environments to keep them inspired. Arts, crafts, and games are tools used to enhance Bible stories in an age appropriate fashion. The preschoolers also experience free play with their peers where Bible lessons can be brought to life.

SAFETY & SECURITY
Your child’s safety is a priority for us. We understand the importance of knowing your children are in a secure environment. Our children’s Preschool Staff is comprised of parents, as well as volunteer workers, who love children and are aware of appropriate security and safety procedures. Fingerprinting is required of all workers, and there is limited access to the children’s classrooms.

Upon arrival, you will check-in with the Preschool Staff. You and your child will be provided with matching name badges. These badges are used for pick-up and dismissal procedures.
Nursery and Preschool also provide pagers to parents as needed.

HOW TO CONNECT
The Preschool program is led by Carolyn McKenzie and committed volunteers. Volunteers at both services on Sundays play with the children and encourage them to show each other God’s love. Our Preschool volunteers also set-up, clean-up, help with snack, and serve in any way that is needed. The most important attribute in a volunteer for Preschool is to love working with children and sharing their love of God.
